Dear members;

WCGCC tennis courts will be open for play on May 11. A revised calendar of activities is being prepared and work has already begun on the opening process.

Please note that the tennis situation is evolving and subject to change.  The information below is current as of today, but will be updated regularly as the situation evolves. We are also working on a Box App ( for updates. We’re not there yet, So updates, if appropriate, will be sent out on Sunday night.

  • The Tennis Center will not be staffed. But courts will be monitored to ensure compliance to the guidelines.
  • Phones will be monitored. Court reservations will still be made on-line. Reservations are required to keep the number of persons at the court side to minimum.  Please do not come to play without a reservation.
  • Court usage is limited to four players per court at all times.
  • It is the responsibility of those playing on courts 1 and 2 to brush and sweep the lines after completion of play. Sanitizing materials will be provided. If you are uncomfortable with handling the brushing equipment, please use the lower courts.
  • No water or benches are available on the courts.
  • Until further notice, the clubhouse is closed. However, single use restrooms will be available. Please follow Club guidelines.
  • Masks are required between your car and the courts, and recommended for play. Please do not congregate in the parking lot or on the patio. Arrive as close to your appointed time as possible, and leave immediately after play.
  • As we begin, courts will be available from 9:00am until sundown.
  • Men’s clinics and RRs will be provided (schedule TBD). Limit of four persons to a court.
  • Ladies clinics TBD.
  • Any questions on team play should be directed to Anthony.

Please review the USTA Tennis Tips for Safe Play and Court Maintenance.  Please familiarize yourself with these guidelines.  We strongly recommend using a separate set of balls (2 or 3) for each team.

As we move forward we appreciate your support and patience.  We will try to communicate changes as soon as possible.  If you have questions, please email or call me.
